2012 FTA and TEACHER CADET SCHOLARSHIPS

IMPORTANT DATES & INFORMATION

NOTE: There is now only ONE application form used to apply for FTA and TEACHER

            CADET scholarships. On the form, you will mark whether you are applying for

            BOTH scholarships, FTA only, or TEACHER CADET only. Be sure to carefully

            follow instructions as this is a different form from years past.

Deadline:    January 20, 2012 is the last date applications may be postmarked.

Interviews Dates/Cities for Finalists (Specific locations to be determined): 

      February 18, 2012 - Raleigh - NCAE Center

Makeup Day for Interviews: February 25, 2012 in Salisbury (Teacher Cadet Office)

** NOTIFICATIONS – All correspondence from FTA and Teacher Cadet regarding your scholarship application will be sent to the EMAIL ADDRESS you list on the application form. We will no longer mail correspondence. If you have questions regarding this new procedure, please call Marca Hamm at 866.638.6466 ext 247

FTA Scholarships:  A total of 11 scholarships awarded each year -

                                  7 are valued at $500 each and 4 are valued at $1,000 each

TEACHER CADET Scholarships:  Two scholarships valued at $1,500 each
